Further development for beer mats
After reviewing the previous design ideas for the beer mats, and after feed back from my crit, people felt that the animal print was working better than the vectored image.
The feedback I also got was that as an overall slogan Release your wild side was working but I could make the campaign a bit more humerous playing on the flirtatious theme. This is when i came up witht he overall campaign slogan being 'Released the Wild in You', making it that little more personal, also using a slogan for each individual animal.
Tiger- 'Easy Tiger'
Zebra- 'Stop & Look'
Elephant- 'Never Forget'
Giraffe- 'Tall, Dark & Handome'
Below i developed the idea of using the fur for the Tiger beer mats.....

After reviewing these designs, I feel that the animal print talks for its self, so instead of having any information on the front, just having the shape of the animal foot print made out of the fur of the relevant animal, and then on the alternate side a small amount of information works well, having that impact on the potential consumer, attracting their attention.
Beer Mat Development
After the poster designs, I felt I needed to develop this brief further, giving it more dimension. The first thing I decided to look at were beer mats, using the foot print for each animal as the beer mat.

A selcetion of design ideas, from scale to layout of the front and back of the beer mat. The front was using the vectored image of the paw print with the colours black and orange to represent the Tiger. After reviewing the back designs, I felt the less information the better, and all it needed was the Logo, name of campaign and the website for more information.
After my crit i was told to try encorporating the fruits form each relevant flavor to each animal, so below I tried combining the orange witht the tiger paw, but I felt the fruit was not clear enough, and using the fur like in the the posters would be more effective.

The Final Posters
Here are my final poster designs for the 4 chosen animals.... Tiger, Zebra, Giraffe and Elephant.
I used the foot print as a recognisable symbol for each animal as well as the animal fur/skin to add that sense of texture to the final design.

Other Animals
As well as the Tiger other animal ideas were happening.... below are design development for posters for a variety of different animals.....

Release your wild side
Exploring other option, I came up with the concept of using animals to promote new flavors that Bacardi were introducing. The first animal was the obious to tie in with the whole flirtatious theme, the Tiger....

I feel that just using the paw print, the posters looked too similar to cinema adverts, using the symbol vectored paw print with block solid colours. On the 4th one you see that I started to use tiger fur print subtly within the poster. I do feel though that the print is too subtle, and as a large image the paw print
does not work, I feel that it would be more successful if I used a more definate tiger skin to emphasize on impact.
The Animal print was defiantly working a lot better, but I still feel there is some more development needed .
Bacardi Zest
After evaluating my original idea of using the colours of traffic lights, and encorporating this in to a game, I fel it was far to complicated and was not really working.
I then went back to brain storming and came up with the idea of introducing new citrus flavours, and still keeping with the flirtatious theme, naming it Bacardi Zest.

A quick initial logo for the concept, using the peel as the s, and adding the slogan to tie in with the flirtation theme.
A few poster ideas....
Encorporating the lemon with the Bacardi symbol....
After reviewing my first initial ideas, I feel that as a concept it is not strong enough, and i can play alot more on the flirtatious theme.
